Two antique Victorian - Edwardian era screen doors. Each of these magnificent antique screen doors is 2-1/2 feet (30") wide and 9 feet 2 inches (110") tall. Alas, we know nothing about identifying various woods and thus cannot say from which variety the doors are made.
The doors were part of a large lot of architectural salvage we purchased locally over 10 years ago. All of it was represented as having been rescued from a plantation home here in deep south Texas.
Please view all of the pictures. You will see that the doors have some scratches, chips, minor cracks, paint loss, dust and soiling. There are some small tears/holes in the screens. The rusted hinges and the single door pull are affixed with phillips screws, suggesting that the hardware may not be original.
