Responsibilities:
-Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers (dozers), loaders, backhoes, cranes, water trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, and tanker vehicles with precision and safety.
-Perform construction site tasks such as grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and site preparation to ensure smooth project progress.
-Utilize specialized machinery like concrete mixers to support various construction activities.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning; perform minor maintenance or notify maintenance teams as needed.
-Follow detailed safety protocols during all operations and maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site.
-Collaborate with project managers and team members to coordinate equipment usage and optimize workflow efficiency.
-Adhere to all relevant regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction site safety standards.
Skills:
-Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, cranes, and water or dump trucks.
-Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic issues with machinery like Caterpillar (CAT) equipment or similar brands.
-Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with excavation, grading, and material handling processes.
-Knowledge of safety procedures specific to construction environments; ability to follow detailed instructions meticulously.
-Ability to perform physical tasks requiring stamina; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
