Job Summary and Qualificions
Performs MAMMO/NUCLEAR MEDICINE scanning exams; is responsible for pient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of the imaging needs. Participes in CQI activities. This job description represents the major duties and responsibilities of this position, but is not to be construed as including every task inherent in the position. Employees are subject to reassignment of duties as determined by their supervisor.Wh you will do in this role:
- Completes assignments in a timely manner.
- Demonstres professional behavior and etiquette in all interactions with physicians, managers, coworkers, and pients.
- Demonstres approprie communicions skills.
- Demonstres competency in radiion protection to the pient and staff in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
- Identifies anomical oriention on all required images and ensures proper identificion on all images.
- Assesses pient condition, ensures pient safety through proper use of restraints / support devices under staff guidance.
- Demonstres proper procedure in contrast injection.
- Demonstres proper procedure for PICC line insertions / removal.
- Demonstres competency in proper special lab technique and set up.
- Demonstres competency in specials operions: A) Processes B) Angiographic Protocols C) Digital Imaging D) Vascular Interventional Procedures E) Image Production F) Cheters, guide wires, needles G) Pient Educion H) Informed Consent I) Pient Assessment / Monitoring J) Medicions K) Sterile Technique.
- Demonstres knowledge in intracranial angiography.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start de
- (ARRT-R) Radiography, preferred (ARRT -N)
- Associe Degree
- Clinical experience preferred
