We are seeking a motivated HVAC Apprentice to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the HVAC industry while gaining hands-on experience under the supervision of experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist senior technicians with installation of HVAC systems, including split systems, package units, and mini splits
• Help with running ductwork, copper piping, and setting equipment
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as filter changes, coil cleaning, and system inspections
• Support troubleshooting and repair of residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Carry tools, materials, and maintain a clean and safe job site
• Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
• Learn to read gauges, take pressure readings, and understand system operation
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Basic mechanical skills or willingness to learn
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions and confined spaces (attics, rooftops, crawl spaces)
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
• Enrollment in or completion of an HVAC training program
• Basic knowledge of tools and electrical components
• EPA certification (or willingness to obtain)
Work Environment:
