Position Overview:
Star Shuttle & Charter is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Employee Shuttle Driver to transport passengers on a scheduled
shuttle route in Brownsville. This position is ideal for experienced drivers with a background in school bus or motorcoach operations who are looking for consistent part-time hours with a reliable schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a shuttle bus along a designated route and schedule
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and timely transport of all passengers
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with passengers and clients
• Adhere to all DOT, state, and company safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route updates or issues
Qualifications:
• Valid Class B or Class A CDL with Passenger (P) endorsement
• School Bus (S) endorsement preferred
• Previous experience driving a school bus, motorcoach, or passenger shuttle
• Clean driving record (MVR)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Strong reliability and punctuality for early morning and afternoon shifts
